When we visited White Sands National Park, something our kids wanted to try was sledding on the fine gypsum that makes this place so special.

We went into town and bought a saucer sled from a local sporting goods store, although the National Park gift shop does sell them during normal business hours.

The girls immediately climbed the tallest dune and started taking turns sledding down the hill. They had a blast and kept at it for a long time, even though it was not easy climbing back to the top.

It was definitely a memorable trip for the whole family including the pups (who are allowed on the dunes as long as they're leashed).

If you haven't made it to White Sands National Park yet, be sure to add it to your bucket list!

While boondocking the kids and Tony had an epic laser gun battle. They made me use our security cameras to call in positions of their targets with our walkie talkies. 🤣 Here's some of my favorite comments heard over the radio.

Lexie: target 3 died sad
Kylie: target 2 pause so I can water my plants
Tony: target 1 is going dark
Exploring Las Vegas is an adventure in itself, but there's nothing quite like cruising down the iconic Strip. The pulse of the city comes alive, right from our windows. It's a journey through a neon-lit wonderland. Come along with us as we take you on one of our all-time favorite Vegas experiences!

We started our full-time RV lifestyle in January 2019. Every day is a blessing, and another day we can’t believe we get to live this wonderful lifestyle. The second best thing we did was buy a Jeep. The adventures are now off the beaten path with non-stop breathtaking views. We would love for you to join us on our journey as we share through our podcasts, blog posts, and videos. You will find information on campgrounds, National Parks, Jeep trails, homeschool, off-the-beaten-path adventures, and so much more.

If you listen to our podcast then you've probably heard us rant and rave about one of our favorite gadgets: the Char Broil Big Easy. It's an oilless turkey fryer that runs on propane!

We break this baby out several times a year for our Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys, and ...when we're craving some home-cooked baby back ribs. It can be used for other meats like roast, chicken, or even prime rib.

While it's a tad on the big side for RV living, it has its own garage that is a perfect fit and in a less used spot.
Since we removed our propane stovetop and oven this thing has been game changer for us!

What's your favorite or must have gadget for cooking?

Not going to lie we were ready to leave as soon as we pulled into the city, haha! We of course had a blast in Las Vegas but we're happy to get off the beaten path again. Plus, check out our home for now. Bonus: it's free.

Call us crazy but we love road trips. Long trips, short trips, any time with my family in the Jeep is a good trip. We jump on any excuse to jump in the car and explore. This trip was an hour and half one way to get a lottery ticket (they don't sell tickets in Nevada so we had to drive to ...California) only to find a line we didn't want to wait in. Haha! It's okay the chances of winning that lottery aren't great.
