On our trip to St. Louis we tried out an app on Android called Travel Blog. I only checked in a few times but I highly recommend this app. It’s very easy to use and the features are outstanding for the price. FREE!

The application is pretty simple to use. You just click “New Trip” and give it a filename. You then just push the “New Post” button each time you want to check in. It gives you a place for a name and description. The time and date is already populated, along with the GPS location.

After the trip is over just “Send Trip” to your email and upload it to Google Maps. Pretty simple! After you upload it to Maps you can add photos by url. So this could be a photo blog of your trip.

The next trip we go on I will have to spend more time on checking in and giving good descriptions. I would love to have a mapped out trail of our adventure complete with photos!
