Last year I made a few resolutions to journal, lose weight, and find balance with work and play. Needless to say I failed miserably at these goals. I never got them up on display in front of me to remind me daily of what I needed to do. This year I will do that to help get things completed.
I made the goal of journaling again for my 29 at 29 and I’m doing pretty well at this. Journaling daily!! It’s really neat to go back and see what I was doing a week or a month ago. This is becoming a habit now. I feel weird until I write in the journal.
Everyone makes the goal of losing weight and I’m no different. Really I just wanted to take better care of myself. In a way I did do better. I’m eating much better than I did in 2010. However, only a few pounds were lost. Bummer! But this year will be better. We are finally breaking down and getting a treadmill.
Organization has always been a really big struggle with me. I can never seem to get a handle on my time and I always feel rushed. 2011 was no different. However, I did get better at “turning off” work and moving to personal life. It’s still pretty hard because I work from home but I do see improvement.
Tomorrow I will start to post my new goals. Hopefully, I do much better in 2012!
